Lily
Lily has been an Angel to reborn. I simply adore this sculpt. She is breathtakingly beautiful and has a wonderful Detail. She has the look of a baby that has just been born. Her expression just amazes me. Her little eyes just adjusting to the brightness around her is so wonderful. She is very realistic in every detail and every time I look at her I cant help but give a sigh . I cant express how pleased I am at the way she has turned out. I just keep looking at her. She really is a beautiful little baby and so wonderfully real. I just do not want to put her down

This sculpt is simply delightful and the detail amazing and personally I love her.
All of my photographs have been taken in natural day light at different times of the day so the colour may vary a little.
Using Genesis heat set paints; I have built up layers of skin tones to my own unique blends and blushed to give a natural baby skin. She has subtle veining, capillaries’ and blue hues to give a translucency in all the right places and give her a natural living skin tone.
Every single one of Lily’s crease’s have been painted with soft blush tones and blended so they look very natural, not harsh.
Lily has beautiful baby soft wispy eye lashes and Victorian blue eyes. I have painted tiny tear ducts and added a minute amount of Aleene’s liquid tears to give a moist look.
I have also painted tiny, barely there, eyebrows. Which are finished with thickening medium to give depth and texture.
Lily's hair is directionally micro rooted with the finest dark blonde angora kid mohair.
This beautiful soft and silken hair is truly special and purchased from Deltadawn, thank you so much Dawn.
Dawns hair is incredibly realistic and so soft, just like a real baby.
Each individual hair is positioned with great care and rooted with a 42 gage needle and I guarantee you will not find any plugs or patches. I am very proud of my rooting technique.
The photograph below shows my rooting technique with a larger needle to show detail.
Below is a photo of Lily’s Crown
Using the smaller 42 gage fork needle
Lily’s hair has then been sealed inside with E6000 glue, so her new Mummy will be able to gently style her hair with a water mister or the baby conditioner, which is included in Lily's layette.
Lily's gorgeous little lips are painted in delicate pink’s with subtle blue under tones. Then mixed with glazing medium to give a soft plump look. Her little tongue has been painted too an has tiny little taste buds. I have finished off the mouth I have added Aleene’s liquid tears to add a touch of moisture in all the right places.
Lily's tiny nostrils have been opened and backed with felt. Then painted and finished with a tiny amount of glaze.
Her petite nail beds have a very pale blue undertone whish has been coated with a soft pink glazing gel. Her cuticles and nail tips are painted in soft ivory and then finished with glazing gel.
Lily has a lace edged doe suede body that is filled with a mixture of Fibrefill, micro glass beads and tender touch baby fat, giving a total weight of
4lb 8oz. Her head is quite floppy and will need to be supported, just like a real baby.
Lily has been fitted with earth magnets for use with her pacifier & hair accessory .
